2017 Heritage Cup

The 2017 Heritage Cup was played on the weekend of Sept. 15 - 17 under sunny skies and warm temperatures. As usual, the first day consisted of 9 holes best ball and 9 holes alternate shot formats. At the conclusion of Day 1, Team Lummer had amassed a large number of points over Team Lucky. For the first time, handicaps were not employed in the following day’s match play competitions. The pairings suggested there was a possibility of a big flip in scoring during match play on Sunday. That did occur, but team Lummer maintained a sufficient edge to win overall. The big winner was the food bank. Approximately $1900.00 was donated along with a large collection of non-perishable goods. Congratulations to both teams.
